Well, my family is currently trying to crate train him again, since he began using the crate as his "time out" and not for bed.<br /> <br /> But since i'm not home, I can't tll if he is getting better at all. :/

Possibly from slipping on the grooming table or in the tub, who knows. Most dogs do not sit perfectly still while being groomed, which can always lead to an accident happening. <br /> The other possibility is that he popped out his knee cap, which is really common in little dogs, with Pomeranian's, and poodles be very prone to that. If that's the case, there's not much you can do about it. <br /> More likely it is his hip, I don't think it's dislocated or he won't be putting any weight on it.<br /> My recommendation would be to keep him confined (crates are great) for at least 2 weeks, so that he can heal properly. This means leash walking him when he's out, besides that keep him on lock down. This will allow the muscles to heal properly instead of allowing him to continually aggravate them.<br /> Best of luck, if you have any other questions please feel free to ask!

My parents claim that he's not injured and that its just because he's shaved.<br /> <br /> And I kinda don't want to argue too much with my parents now...we are having a lot of issues and my parents are arguing with each other a lot...

Can you talk to your parents about how you could help pay them for the vet fees? Can you mow people's lawns, pet set, baby set, sell something?<br /> <br /> Not seeking medical attention for a injured pet is against the law. And it would be the adults who would be responsable.

I don't have any asprin.<br /> <br /> And I told my mom that I was calling the vet tomorrow, and she said NO.<br /> And that we're not taking him in.<br /> <br /> ....I don't even know what to do. I'm about to cry because my mom is being so insensitive to him and she only cares that we have to spend money. But if it gets worse, we have to pay more money.<br /> <br /> And it bothers me that she can't spend the money on him, but she can freely spend hundreds of dollars on my brother on baby toys

If he had a dislocated Hip I doubt he'd be walking on it at all or a broken bone. Sounds like he may have a strain or minor tear, but only the vet could really tell you. If he's not eating from the pain it sounds like you need to convince your parents that's its serious...<br /> <br /> <br /> You can give him BUFFERED Asprin(Bufferin)...Its not a long term thing in dogs, long term it can cause problems but If you have to, you can use regular aspirin but its hard on their stomach.<br /> <br /> Once or twice a day, with food<br /> less than 10 lbs ½ baby (40mg)<br /> 10-30 lbs 1 baby aspirin(81mg)<br /> 30-50 lbs ½ regular aspirin(162mg)<br /> <br /> Dog pain meds would be best but if your parents won't take him to the bet...Asprin is the ONLY human OTC pain med you can give him

So, I've been stretching his leg, but it doesn't seem like anything is changing yet. I'm probably going to call the groomers tomorrow and ask them, because I realized my dog doesn't even get off of the bed anymore. He won't eat, and he's been outside once all day. And if you try to call him outside, he runs back onto the bed.<br /> <br /> My sister is telling my mom that its because's he's naked and the cold is bothering him. However, she's forgetting that he won't walk, doesn't sit right, "falls", and has an awkward stance. :&lt;<br /> <br /> I realllyy hope nothing is too wrong...

I hope your dog is alright. Both of my girls go to the vet tomorrow. They are full of each others spit from playing.<br /> <br /> This is rather unfortunate and I'd just remember this if you still plan on getting your corgi because it sounds like they wouldn't want to pay for its medical unless something was oozing blood or any other clear physical signs. Maybe you need a vet fund if you still plan on getting that dog. ^^;

Yea, I can't wait til I'm able to have the resources to take care of him properly, but with the costs of the vet AND his shots, we might end up spending about $300.<br /> <br /> But thank you. :)<br /> I have my fingers crossed all ends well and that the stretching might help him. I want him to be up and running before I head back to college next Monday :)

D: When it comes to my dogs I never take anything lightly. But of course, if you're depending on your parents to pay for the vet visit then that's different.<br /> <br /> My sisters little pit bull mix had a tiny bump on the end of her tail once. They took her in and it turned out to be cancer and 6inches of her tail were removed. Couple months later my dog had a similar bump and a trip to the vet, and $75 later, it turned out to be nothing more than a swollen bug bite! XD You just never know.<br /> <br /> Keep a close watch on your boy then, lets hope he just pulled something and it'll go away with time! It could be something serious, like an injury concerning the spine! Or an ear infection, though you'd probably notice your dog holding his head differently. Either way, it could be a lot of things and the only person who can give you an honest, informative answer is a vet.

I don't feel anything swollen, I've felt around his legs and it seems like he's body doesn't twitch when I rub his leg area like it does on his other leg. Looks like he may have jumped off a Groomers table or out of the tub and slipped on the floor possibly has a dislocated hip...Is it hot or swollen? Doing some stretches would be good for the leg if he just pulled something...<br /> <br /> Here is a good article on leg streching-http://www.cpwda.com/article_7_stretching.htm<br /> <br /> Pics kinda make it hard to see if you could post a bit of a video that would help better...Also check the pad and toes well and stretch out the toes I have known several dogs as been a groomer of the bottom of the grooming kennels of dogs getting their toes stuck and pulling them out..causing some toe sprains...<br /> <br /> You can also give doggy asprine/ or Ascriptin for 24 hours and see if that helps with pain and see if he is walking right...

I'd suggest taking him to the vet if you're that worried about it. It sounds like it could be something serious and it's better safe than sorry!
